How do I create a group? ↓
Tap the + button on the home screen, give your group a name, and start adding members. You can invite friends to join via a shareable invite link.
How do I invite someone to my group? ↓
Open your group, tap the invite icon at the top right, and share the generated invite link with your friend. They can join directly from the link on their device.
How does expense splitting work? ↓
Add an expense, choose who paid, and Splitlyn automatically calculates each person's share. The "Who owes whom" section shows a clear breakdown of all balances.
How do I mark a debt as settled? ↓
In your group, find the person under "Who owes whom" and tap the Settle button next to their name. Confirm the settlement and it will be recorded in your Settlement History.
Will my data sync across devices? ↓
Yes. Splitlyn uses iCloud to sync your groups and expenses across all your Apple devices automatically. Just make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID.
What does "Close Group" do? ↓
Closing a group archives it once everything is settled. You'll get a full summary before archiving so nothing is left unsettled. Closed groups are kept for your records.
